ENCINO ☕ PIALON
PIALON, now open in Encino, brings vibrant energy to Ventura Blvd with shareable small plates, tapas, cicchetti, and meze, each under $18. ARTS DISTRICT 🇮🇹 BIANCA
Bianca Sicilian Trattoria is the latest Italian arrival in the Arts District, bringing a traditional Sicilian vibe to the former Le Champ space with a twinkling string-lit patio and a menu focused on hearty classics like arancini, mushroom ragu lasagna, seafood linguine, and bistecca with salsa verde. STUDIO CITY 🔥 ALTO
Alto Fire to Table has officially opened in Studio City, offering a striking, open-fire dining experience inspired by the culinary traditions of Argentina and Uruguay. Helmed by Michelin-trained chefs Esteban Klenzi and Juana Castellanos Lagemann, Alto features a moody, design-forward space and showcases standout dishes like lamb saddle aged in beeswax and 12-hour roasted beets, both kissed by flames in the wood-fired grill. The menu leans meat-heavy with South American flair, accompanied by inventive cocktails and a warm, lively vibe.
ARTS DISTRICT 🥘 BERENJAK
Berenjak, the celebrated Persian kebab spot from London, has arrived in the Arts District, now serving at Soho Warehouse. You’ll find coal-grilled specialties and soft, house-made taftoon bread drawing diners from across downtown. Follow the aroma on East 7th if you’re nearby. SANTA MONICA 🇫🇷 LA MONIQUE
Santa Monica's Hotel Oceana is reopening its restaurant space as La Monique tomorrow, transforming the old Tower 8 spot into a French brasserie that'll likely book up fast. The redesigned dining room features a clubby, intimate vibe with the bar relocated and a completely new layout at 849 Ocean Ave, just steps from the beach. The LA Food Bowl takes over City Market Social House this weekend.
